April 16th opening for west side roads, See the link below for details. The link also has links and other information relating to when things open up. Some campgrounds in the park are open when the roads open on April 16th. Others are not. Details at www.nps.gov/yell/planyourvisit/open_closedates.htm which is also linked to from the page linked below. Before April 16th the only roads open are the north side ones from the north entrance to the NE entrance. All roads south of Tower and Mammoth are closed.
