To quote an old time ranger. I would suggest taking the Upper Loop. Norris-Canyon-Lamar-Mammoth. Starting where it fits your trip best. Norris: Geysers and Elk. Canyon: Waterfalls, Osprey, Elk. Lamar: Elk, Bison, Bears, Wolves. Mammoth: Hot Springs Terraces, Elk. Bears and Wolves are anywhere you run into them. It would be a LONG day. DG
