Yeah noise is always a tough thing and obviously there is always a bit...but for this trip I'm really trying to avoid inherent building noise.
Neighbours are one thing...but the building is another.
Three Bear is looking much better now post renovation in the lodge part...and I'm increasingly thinking west yellowstone might be better than old faithful? Hibernation is a bit expensive. Though I agree it does look nice.
As for the northeast we aren't spending much time in the area so staying up there really won't work well for us.
