Obsidian Creek parallels the road between Mammoth and Norris, south of the Swan Lake Flats. It joins with Indian Creek at the Indian Creek campground to form the Gardner RIver. I believe there is a picnic area along Obsidiam Creek south of the Indian Creek Campground.
